Coatings Societies
International (CSI) is composed of the world's coatings technical associations:
- Fédération
d’Associations de Techniciens des Industries des Peintures,Vernis, Emaux
et Encres d'Imprimerie de l’Europe Continentale (FATIPEC).
- Federation
of Societies for Coatings Technology (FSCT);
- Japan Society
of Colour Material (JSCM);
- Oil & Colour
Chemists' Association (OCCA);
- Surface Coatings
Association Australia (SCAA);
- Surface Coating
Association New Zealand (SCANZ); and,
- Skandinaviska
Lackteknikers Forbund (SLF).
The CSI meets regularly
during the national conferences of its member organizations to pursue the following
aims:
- To ensure the
international co-ordination of dates for scientific, technical and related
events organized by its members;
- To bring out
the major directions of pure and applied research in the field of coatings
technology;
- To generate
scientific and technical work liable to lead to world progress in these industries;
- To support
and ensure the publication of scientific, technical, and technico-economic
work of interest to these industries; and,
- Generally,
to carry out or have carried out all useful action for the progress of these
industries which one, or several members grouped together, could not undertake
alone.
The next Official Meeting of CSI will take place on Wednesday 7th June 2006 in Queenstown, New Zealand.
