Abstract:
Block polymers are a fascinating class of polymers because they can combine very different polymer properties in a single macro molecule. Depending on the chemical nature of the individual polymer blocks , nanophase-separated plastic materials, polymeric emulsifiers or highly effective paint and varnish additives can be produced. In this presentation we want to present the wide range of possible uses of highly ordered block copolymers as formulation additives for paints and lacquer applications.
