Venue: Webinar
Date: Wednesday 28th June 2023
Time: 14:30 – 15:30
Our Series 10 of OCCA Weekly Webinars continues with "Innovative Paints and Coatings Solutions enabled by 3M™ Glass Bubbles" presented by Dr Friedrich Wolff of 3M. The webinar will take place via Zoom on Wednesday 28 June at 2:30pm.
Abstract:
Climate change, energy-efficient renovation efforts, increasing regulation, and shortages of skilled craftsmen are hot topics in the paints and coatings industry. With these challenges in mind, there is a need for innovative paints, coatings and construction materials that help to save energy, are sustainable, and are fast and easy to apply.
This webinar will provide an overview of 3M’s hollow glass microspheres, called 3M™ Glass Bubbles, and how they can be applied in innovative paints and coatings. Case studies on interior and exterior paints, solar heat reflective coatings, but also industrial thermal insulation coatings will be showcased.
