Abstract:
Sustainable rheology modifiers based on polyurethane technology, known as NiSAT products, offer innovative solutions for the paint and coatings industry. While traditional NiSAT thickeners are available in liquid form with an active ingredient content of about 20-50%, these products are also available as powders with 100% active ingredient content. These powder products are significantly more effective in terms of active content and greatly reduce transport and storage volumes.
The latest developments in this product group are based on up to 90% renewable resources, significantly enhancing their sustainability. These sustainable rheology additives help improve the environmental footprint without compromising performance in various end systems.
With these approaches, Elementis offers forward-looking alternatives to conventional additives, supporting the industry in becoming more environmentally conscious.
