OCCA Weekly Webinars Series 15 continues with "Sustainable values in the Coatings Industry" presented by Tina Leyh of Munzing Chemie. The webinar will take place via Zoom on Wednesday 5 February at 2:30pm.

Abstract:

Sustainable additives are key drivers to achieve the sustainable goals of coating and paint producers. MÜNZING offers the whole range of green additives like thickeners, dispersing agents, wetting agents, defoamers and waxes.

Our sustainable development aims to achieve high performance products which include a high amount of plant-based or recycled raw materials and little to no microplastic whilst reducing the CO2 footprint. By utilizing renewable feedstock, we reduce dependence on finite fossil sources while benefiting from the CO2 absorption and energy-efficient synthesis of renewable raw materials. As a result, renewable products exhibit a significantly lower CO2 footprint compared to their fossil-based counterparts. The use of biodegradable raw materials ensures compatibility with the environment and addresses the growing concern surrounding microplastics.

At MÜNZING we find ways to move forward into a greener future. We Create Sustainable Value.
