OCCA Weekly Webinars Series 17 continues with "Creative Formulation in an Age of Complex Regulation" presented by Isla Taylor of Lorama UK Ltd. The webinar will take place via Zoom on Wednesday 19 November at 2:30pm.
Abstract:
In recent years, the coating industry has faced an increasing amount of legislative pressure, driven by concerns around the impact of chemicals on health, environmental impact and product safety. While well-intended and often necessary, they can result in unintended consequences that lead to disruption to long established products and often create unforeseen challenges for formulators, demanding rapid adaptation, resource intense reformulation and careful alignment with global regulatory differences. While for companies operating internationally, such as Lorama Group, the ability to navigate these uncertain landscapes while continuing to innovate is not just a competitive advantage, but critical to both customers and our business sustainability. In these challenging times it is the supplier that is willing to partner with their customers in order to develop the next generation products for specific applications that will both survive and prosper. Lorama has invested heavily in a world class technical and regulatory team that is focussed on delivering sustainable solutions for our partners in industry.
