OCCA Weekly Webinars Series 20 continues with "Training; its role in successful and profitable coatings application, to take account of sustainability in painting operations" presented by Graham Armstrong of Armstrong Group. The webinar will take place via Zoom on Wednesday 25 November at 2:30pm.
Abstract:
The webinar will lead on from the workshop held at Surfex 26 to briefly examine the excellent work continuing by raw material suppliers and paint manufacturers into sustainable solutions for the paint and coatings industry, and what needs to be considered and actioned by the applicators and users of these coatings to ensure the hard work producing sustainable products is not wasted. It will consider the role training has to play in ensuring success.
Speaker Profile - Graham Armstrong - , Armstrong Group
After 57 years in the industrial paint industry, mainly in sales, marketing and technical service roles, Graham finally retired from gainful employment in 2025 on his relocation to live in Cyprus. To give something back to the industry, and to maintain an interest, he started a technology consultancy business, registered in Cyprus, with a main purpose to provide application training, utilising the knowledge gained during those 57 years. He has recently completed the latest training course at a major aerospace overhaul company in the UAE.
