Abstract:
Clearly the quality requirements from Automotive and Industrial manufacturers become ever more demanding. BASF has developed a new dispersing agent which allows coating manufacturers to improve the resistance of their coating formulations without sacrificing obvious properties like gloss, color and transparency. Efka® PX 4780 and PX 4787 allow the formulation of both resin containing and resin free pigment concentrates with unsurpassed stability and color properties like jetness and color strength.

Jorn Renema, born in 1983, obtained bachelor degree in chemistry and chemical engineering at NHL, Hoge School Leeuwarden. His career started at the Technical center of Johnson Polymer as Technologist in the field of emulsion polymers for the printing and packaging industry. After the acquisition by BASF he joined the Formulation Additives business unit as Technical marketing and nowadays Technical Sales for Great Britain, Benelux and the Nordics region.
