Maurille Secher has 25+ years of Coatings expertise with a focus of Application development and new technology innovations. He has a Masters degree in Surface Physico Chemistry & Colloïdal Systems from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) and Executive education from INSEAD. Maurille joined Synthomer from the OMNOVA Solutions business in 2020 as Technical Manager, based in France.
Speaker Profile: Christophe Baude, Technical Services Group Manager, Synthomer
Christophe Baude obtained a Master’s degree in Formulation Chemistry from the University of Lille, France in 2001. He started as R&D Project Leader with ink manufacturer SICPA in 2002. In 2004, he joined COMUS, a specialty coatings manufacturer and worked as Lab Manager for 7 years. In 2011, he joined OMNOVA SOLUTIONS in Villejust, France, as EMEA Coatings Applications Team Leader. In 2020, after OMNOVA SOLUTIONS acquisition, he accepted the role of EMEA Technical Service Manager for Coatings at SYNTHOMER.

Raymond Somich is Global Marketing Director, responsible for the Coatings portfolio with Synthomer, plc.
Raymond has 20-years experience in the Chemicals industry with a specialization in infrastructure and building construction, automotive applications, as well as industrial and architectural Coatings. His chemistry application experience includes acrylics, epoxies, polyurethanes, silicone and various thermoset materials.
Raymond holds a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Marketing and completed his Masters in Business Administration at Bowling Green University. He also holds a Six-Sigma Green Belt.
